Welcome to my website!

This website is all about daily life in a small, somewhat rural city in Japan. I’ll be covering a wide range of topics related to the nature around us, the people we interact with, and of course, Japanese culture, food, and various activities.

Origin of This Site’s Name

You’ll get to meet my elderly parents, who run a small farm in a little town in northern Saitama, which is in the Kanto region of Japan. I decided to name this site “Piggy’s Grandma of Japan” as a tribute to my mom.

For over 30 years, they were pig farmers. But as they’ve gotten older, they’ve switched to growing vegetables. I hope you enjoy your visit to this site!
